Dance, Minor

Program Overview

Students who are interested in studying dance beyond the introductory courses but who may not wish to major in dance can consider the 18-credit-hour dance minor.  While there is a recommended plan that includes predominantly dance technique classes in the modern and contemporary genres, substitutions can be made from among other courses offered by the department upon advisement. However, no more than 6 credit hours of ballet can be applied toward the minor.
