Program Overview

The Department of Psychological Sciences offers a full-time program leading to a Master of Arts in psychology. This applied program provides students with the skills and practical experience they need to work in early intervention with children aged 0 to 5. Graduates qualify for an Early Intervention Services Certificate (Developmental Specialist) through the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities.

Program Requirements

Degree requirements include the completion of 38 credit hours of course work and placements, with 13 of these credit hours fulfilling the requirement of the Ohio Early Intervention Services Certificate. Students will be given opportunities to train in multiple placement sites, including hospital, school, and clinical settings.
