Business Information Technology, Minor
Program Overview
The Weatherhead School of Management offers a minor in Business Information Technology that provides a broad overview of business information technology and prepares undergraduate students to bridge the gap between business strategy and technology solutions. Open to students from all majors, with the exception of students completing the Business Information Technology major, the program introduces key concepts in data management, information systems, analytics, and digital innovation. Students develop the skills to leverage technology for informed decision-making, improve organizational efficiency, and drive transformation in a rapidly evolving digital landscape—positioning them for careers at the intersection of business and IT.

Learning Outcomes
- Students will attain a broad, strong foundation in business, and in particular, will gain competence in programming for business applications, systems analysis and design, database management, and other business processes and information technologies.
