Program Overview

The School of Graduate Studies and School of Medicine partner to offer a dual degree for the Doctor of Medicine and Master of Public Health degrees. Applicants should make separate application for admission to the School of Medicine and the Master's in Public Health Program (through the School of Graduate Studies). Applications to the Master's in Public Health Program may include MCAT scores rather than GRE scores, in addition to other information indicated on the graduate school forms.

Program Requirements

Graduates of this 5-year, 42 credit hour master’s degree program are qualified to work in local and state health departments, universities and colleges, hospitals, ambulatory medical centers, non-profit organizations and the insurance and pharmaceutical industries.
